Terry,
Could you please share with us your definition of "normal"? Webster's dictionary defines it as "occurring naturally". Perhaps you have a dictionary that says something different? Whether you like to admit it or not, if you were to study the history of humanity, or all of animal kind for that matter, you'll see homosexuality occurring all over the natural world from when time began. What it boils down to is: your morals are your morals, not everyone's. And this country was founded on the separation of church and state, so people cannot force their morals on others. By the way, gay people are already getting married and having children: some are marrying each other, hurting no one, in states where it's legal. And some are marrying opposite sex partners, having children, and divorcing years later after they realize the mistake they've made - tearing the family apart. The latter scenario is legal in all states. According to what you wrote, you feel that's healthy. I don't.

What about homosexual behavior appeals to those who want to repeal DADT? You do not repeal DADT or legalize so-called "homosexual marriage" without encouraging homosexual behavior. Homosexuals want to be told some of their freakish behavior is normal - well, the answer is NO. What insterest should our nation have in encouraging homosexual behavior? NONE. The answer is NO - no homosexual marriage and no repeal of DADT (in fact DADT should be thrown out and existing law simply enforced). You don't have a right to serve in the military any more than you have a right to marry. Marriage preceeded any Constitutional rights as something a sane society wants to encourage to produce healthy families with healthy children, DUH.

The Republican Party would be more to your liking if people such as yourself were to join.

When was the last time you volunteered for a campaign, handed out literature, wrote a check to a candidate, took a friend to the polls? Have you ever run for office yourself?

When was the last time you personally KNEW someone who did any of the above?

Sorry, but if you abstain, then don't complain.

Instead, be a light to the world, as the Master himself said. (Matt. 5)

This is only a PROPOSED resolution to be presented to the membership. We still live in a Republic where free speech is a right. If someone doesn't like what is going on I suggest that they become active in their local county party and work from within. It is easy to sit out there and whine about what is going on. The harder thing to do is to actively become involved in the entire process. Help candidates that you like, work for the local party, get things changed in a democratic way. Personally I am tired of listening to people who want to sit back in their lounge chair and grouse about everything. Get out there and do something. Make a difference. The world belongs to those who participate. Start participating.
This resolution will be voted on at the caucus whether or not we like it or not. That is America.

Don't be fooled.

God decides what is just (and what is love for that matter)whether we or the military like it or not.
Majority opinion won't help either. It's not a popularity contest. Our inalienable rights come from our Creator (God the Father,Son and Holy Spirit). His Word is clear and inseparable from Him.

"The wicked return to the grave, all the NATIONS that forget God." Psalm 9:17

"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness" 1 Corinthians 3:19

"Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?" Revelation 6:15-17

There is very broad support by both political parties, by individuals at all levels currently in the military, including a wide majority of military leaders, and by a supermajority of American popular opinion to repeal DADT. The only minorities involved here are largely Christian activists who don't want homosexuals to be treated fairly (led by Donnelley and her self-appointed "Center for Military Readiness," which consists of 3 people: Donnelley, her husband, and a receptionist) and the homosexuals themselves, who have been persecuted for far too long.
